Brooklyn “Guerrilla Pimp” Arrested for Sex Trafficking and Possession of Ammunition

Brooklyn resident Ferron Facey, known as “Azul” or “Royal Da P,” has been apprehended by federal authorities on charges of sex trafficking and possession of ammunition. Facey, 38, allegedly coerced and threatened young women, some as young as 16, into working for him at the notorious open-air sex market known as “Penn Track” in East New York.

According to US Attorney Breon Peace for the Eastern District of New York, Facey employed violence and coercion to control his victims. In early July, he recruited at least two women, including a 16-year-old minor and a 20-year-old, to work at the sex market. Prosecutors have presented text messages exchanged between Facey and the minor victim, discussing prostitution meet-ups and prices, including for a “car date.”

One of the victims, the 20-year-old woman, managed to escape and reported Facey to a non-governmental agency in Houston, Texas. She described him as an “abusive guerrilla pimp” who physically assaulted her, even choking her to the point of near unconsciousness, as stated in court documents.

During Facey’s arrest at his residence, federal agents discovered a loaded 9mm handgun in a bedroom, along with several rounds of ammunition concealed inside an air fryer in the kitchen. Additionally, authorities found a powdery substance scattered in a bathroom and nearly $3,000 in cash rolled up in elastic behind a bed in the bedroom.

Prosecutors have highlighted Facey’s history of violence against women, citing a social media video where he verbally assaulted a woman at the Penn Track before two women emerged from his car and attacked her. Facey was recorded saying, “I got hoes out here that’ll beat you up right now,” and boasting about his physical aggression towards women.

This arrest follows the apprehension of two other pimps from the Penn Track in April. Omari “Sir Prince” Scott, 43, and Michael “Victory” Simmons, 42, faced charges related to a deadly turf war that resulted in the fatal shooting of rival sex trafficker Cleveland Clay.
